public class FormatDateTag
extends javax.servlet.jsp.tagext.TagSupport

Formats a date object in the desired type:
e.g:

   <openmrs:formatDate date="${dateObj}" type="textbox"/>
 

becomes a string like: "20/11/2009" in the user's current locale.

Options for "type" are:

• xml - dd-MMM-yyyy
• long - DateFormat.LONG
• medium - DateFormat.MEDIUM
• textbox - Context.getDateFormat()
• milliseconds - current milliseconds since the epoch
